Welcome to the city of angels

Ekat kuvat Brightonista. Olin niin lähellä itkemistä koko ajan ku muokkasin näitä, ette tajua kuinka paljon haluun tonne takas. Rakastuin tähän ihanaan merenrantakaupunkiin ihan täysin ja tekisin melkein mitä vaan että olisin tolla kivisellä rannalla just nyt.

First pics of Brighton. I was so close to crying the whole time I was editing these, you can't understand how much I want to go back. I fell completely in love with this lovely city by the sea and I'd do almost anything to be on that pebble beach right now.

Istuttiin tosiaan bussissa yön yli (tolta matkalta ei oo yhtään kuvia koska a) me näytettiin kaikki aika paskoilta ja b) valot ei ollu päällä) ja oltiin Brightonissa perillä noin puol kaheksan aikaan. Mentiin isäntäperheisiin. Voi luoja, meiän isäntäperhe. Äiti ei ymmärtäny suunnilleen sanaakaan englantia eikä talossa erityisen siistiäkään ollu. Sisään lappas koko ajan lisää ulkomaalaisia. En haluu kuulostaa miltään rasistilta, mutta ehkä me tultiin Englantiin opiskeleen englantia, ei intiaa :D Aika pian lähettiin keskustaan ja parin mutkan kautta saatiin uusi perhe. Tavattiin myös ekaa kertaa meiän ryhmän ruotsalaiset ja italialaiset!

We spent the night sitting in the bus (i dont have any pics from that trip bc a) we all looked pretty much like shit and b) the lights werent on) and were in Brighton at about half past seven. We went to our host families. Oh God, our host family. The mom didn't understand like a word in English and it wasn't the cleanest house. More and more foreign people came in. I don't want to sound like a racist, but we came to England to learn English, not Indian :D Quite soon we left to town and after a few problems we got a new family. We also met the Swedish and Italian people of our group for the first time!

Päivät alko kuluun liian nopeesti. Ekalla viikolla meillä oli koulua iltapäivisin, joten aktiviteetit oli aamulla ja illalla. Tutustuin moniin uusiin ihmisiin ja saatiin kaikki nauttia hienosta kelistä.

The days started to go by too fast. On our first week we had lessons in the afternoon, so our activities were in the mornings and in the evenings. I got to know many new people and we all enjoyed the awesome weather.

Oltiin monesti iltasin Queen's Parkissa, joka oli siis muutakin kun leikkipuisto XD Siellä oli tollanen tosi kuvauksellinen lampi, jonka pinnalla oli kauniin vihreä kerros ....jotain? Näättekö ton pallon kuvan oikeessa alanurkassa? Se oli joka kerta tossa samalla paikalla :D Kyllä vähän sääliks kävi kun jotkut sorsat yritti uida tuolla.

Many times we spent the evenings at Queen's Park, which was more than a playground though XD There was that really photogenic pond, on top of which there was a beautifully green layer of ...something? See that ball in the right down corner of the pic? It was in that exact same spot every time :D I did feel a hint of pity when I saw some ducks trying to swim in that thing.

Tän postauksen päätteeks ja varsinkin näitten kahden kuvan jälkeen voisin kertoo, kuinka helvetin tärkeiks suomalaiset tytöt tuli mulle jo ekan viikon jälkeen. Parin kohdalla on jopa sellanen fiilis, että meiän ystävyys tulee kestään koko loppuelämän. Vaikka me ollaan ihan eri puolilta Suomee kaikki ja osan kans näkeminen tulee varmasti oleen vaikeeta, mä uskon että me pystytään siihen ja tutustutaan toisiimme vieläkin paremmin ♥

At the end of this post and especially after these two pics I could tell you, how freaking important the Finnish girls became to me already after the first week. With a few I even feel like our friendship will last a lifetime. Even though we're all from different parts of Finland, and seeing some of you will probably be hard, I believe we can do it and get to know each other even better ♥
